It’s You Again

Yea…I recognize you

We used to chill and build.

Familiarity is something that kills.

Because you know,

All of my weaknesses…

And tendencies, still…

Trying to find ways to wedge in…

Forgetting I’m blessed with..

Different armor.

The things that used to move me,

Don’t bother…

Me.

I’m honestly,

far from the

Man you used to be around.

Sitting on my shoulder,

Feeling like the weight of boulders..

But you should see me, now…

I’m protected.

You can’t get to me.

Your arms are too short to box with God’s.

So don’t stand next to me…

And when you do,

Searching for opportunity.

My faith doesn’t shake.

There’s nothing you can do to me.

Michael – I was born and sworn to protect

So God equipped me, preparing me..

For what’s next.

So, you, my demon…

Have weighed on me for too long.

I took that weight and built muscle

And now my faith, is too strong.

To my demons, yes,

This was written for you…

There’s nothing in God’s green earth

Or anything different you can do.

Every time you approach,

And I sense something familiar

I just have a word with God

And allow for my army to deal with ya.

Because you and I,

Have spent way too much time together.

But I’ve moved on.

Siding with God until forever.

So yeah, right now, I see you…

It’s you again.

And God’s with me…

So getting to me…

Is something you won’t do, again.
